OUR STORY
Guwahati City FC (GCFC) is a dynamic football club based in Guwahati, Assam, committed to nurturing football talent across all levels. Established on August 24, 2017, GCFC is affiliated with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and the Assam Football Association (AFA), Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) and is registered with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
Our journey began with a residential summer soccer camp in collaboration with Shillong Lajong FC. Since then, GCFC has pioneered several initiatives in Assam's football landscape:​

​​2018: Organized Assam's first professional futsal competition, the Guwahati Futsal Festival.

2019: Launched the state's first Golden Baby League, the Greater Guwahati Baby League, with over 2,000 young participants and 150 teams.

2019: Entered senior men's football through the GSA C Division, promoted to the top division by 2023.

2021: First Assamese club to compete in the Indian Women's League (IWL) Qualifiers.

2024: Represented Assam in the AIFF Club Futsal Championship.
